Which one causes the most blunt force trauma to the head?
Test the LITELOK
I really can’t understand why they can’t make headset locks for bikes like motorcycles, yes they can still lift the bike but can’t just cut and ride off. If they drill hit bang they are going to damage the item they are stealing and looks more suspect in busy locations.
10% is not enough nowadays. You need like 25% to be safe.
I fixed my Brompton with this Kryptonite U-lock and it was stolen the second or third day, probably night. Never left your bike outside during the night i can tell.
Abus Granit X plus or mini is my choice of main lock to put through back wheel and frame as needs 2 cuts to defeat it,Thick chain with strong padlock for front wheel and frame,Good quality cable to cover seat and clip off mud guards etc. Pin head locks are good for locking handle bars and wheels down.
Good chain locks aren’t secondary locks or just for protecting a wheel and that is why they cost very expensive and more than a u-lock. I got a Kryptonite New York Noose chain lock and I sometimes need it for objects where a u-lock simply won’t fit. I also got a Krytonite New York standard u-lock for smaller posts and bike racks.
Thanks for the ideas
