Hey, I just bought the lock with my new bike off Amazon. I have a few questions, I like to take my bike to the gym. The gym I go to is in a high density area which is questionably one of the worst areas in our city. I know the brand itself is a good deterrent for wannabe bike thieves, how long would it take for someone to break the lock and how loud would they be while doing so? Sorry if the question is a little hard to answer.
Hello, I have no intention of mounting this lock to my bike (i always have a bag and it’s a track bike), can I remove the bracket bit? Cheers
Just did a review on this lock…wanted to drop by and say I’ve had it for more than two years and it hasn’t failed me yet. So, trust me, it’s more than marketing hype. The lock is reliable and effective.
Does it have a protective vinyl coating so that the lock doesnt scratch the bicycle frame ???
I’ve got one of these and it’s very irritating. The individual lock bits inside all rotate with vibration so when I try to put the key in, it can take me several minutes to get them all lined up so the key will go in all the way, and so I can unlock it. Never had such a nuisance lock! I’ve put some thick-ish grease in, which has helped a bit, but still a pain.
Cab you still open these with a pen, or did you guys fix that?
