Kryptonite KryptoLok & Evolution Standard, Fahgettaboudit Mini U-Locks real world usage in NYC

I compare 3 U-Locks in NYC from Kryptonite in this video: The KryptoLok Series 2 Standard, Evolution Series 4 Standard, and Fahgettaboudit Mini. These three locks are the original models, Kryptonite has since updated them as the “New-U”, which offers increased security with deeper shackles and scalloped shaped designs. However, these locks are still tough and ready for real world NYC usage.

I recommend the orange one, it’s the goldielocks fit for me, just right.

John Hammer says:

The main problem with the Series 2 is that it doesn’t have a double-locking shank, so only one cut needs to be made to defeat it. The Evo and the NYF and every other “good” u-lock have double-locking shanks.

So many locks. So much more weight. So much more time. Wow.

Wow do you really have to lock them up like that every time, i just used one lock and its ok. They would be taken if you just left it unlocked of course. But im in basically a little city, oh one time i left my motorbike and thought I had lost the key, and looked and it was still in the Ignition when I got back as I forgot to remove it.
