Video of the mal max bike security chain
Author: Rob Osborne
Wouldn’t take much to cut through the frame on your bike…
The series 3 chain in blue is 16mm and the Red series 4 chains are 19mm thick…
Just a word of warning Rob. My bike was nicked. Had two 12mm security chains. And another one locking the front wheel to the frame. They cropped the two chains in less than 2 mins and lifted the bike into a van. Bike gone. Unless you can bring that Almax to a ground anchor , you are wasting your time. Although I do believe, if a thief wants your bike, they will get it no matter what you do.
3:05 is that an owl in the background….
I would cut the frame just to steal the chain, stuff the bike.
one of those chains us an awarded disc lock would do a bit to prevent theft somewhat
I have recently just passed my test and will be picking my new bike up and will need to invest in a decent chain. On my 125 I use a monster Oxford boss alarm lock now need some serious stuff.
Need a 19mm to leave in the garage to lock my bike to my bros bike.
Is the 16mm ALMAX ideal to carry around whilst in town?
Haha. Either way tho your going to.make a helova lot of noise. the object of these is to slow down the theif an make it more obvious what there doing.
