Given enough time and plenty of grinding material, any battery-powered grinder can cut any chain. Period.

Keep the faith Wayne. Just because they give you chain to test doesn’t mean you go soft. At $300 I want this to stop somebody stealing my motorbike, not just slow them down long enough to spit chain dust from their mouth’. The dawn of the battery disc cutter makes bolt cutter tests irrelevant. Buzz Light Year.. Onwards and Upwards …,

don’t know many bike thieves that also carry around a clamping table though! chains move around while being cut, just don’t leave excess chain lying on floor for the to get a foot on.
