A fun padlock, but you wouldn’t want to actually secure anything with it.
A thousand thanks to Michael in Texas for sending this across.

Yeah all the Mindy locks are just for the looks. They look fancy but not secure at all. I have 8 different ones in my collection.
Normally I’d agree with the Mindy lock security by obscurity thing, but the smiley dimple lock is a really, really common profile in China and I see tonnes of them. 🙂 also, I use small y wrenches used for wafer locks to tension, makes things super easy
Nice looking lock, even if it is easy to pick. I will look for one of those when I get some spare cash. I’ve never picked a smiley lock.
I do nned to get my paws on a smiley lock to give them a go. Another cracking review. Ace work as always.
Very entertaining. She maybe insecure but she’s still a fine looking Lock in my book.
Lol great video Thanks
Nice, I’ll have to pick one up. By the by, I love your tendency to subtitle comments in, they usually make me smile.
Love the Mindy locks, more like art and less like security. Great video bud, ty for sharing.
Great video mate, interesting information for not to waste the money ;o))
Thanks for sharing ;o))
Very nicely done exploring and picking this lock. I agree, it’s insecure, has bad tolerances but looks nice. But tensioning is an issue. Have you tried picking it in the hand without the vice? Is this possible?
